Muharram on 7 July – Schools Will Be Closed?
This time there has been a bit of confusion about the date of Moharram. In some places it was told on 6 July, but since 6 July is Sunday, that holiday is already scheduled. If Muharram falls on 7 July, then holiday can be given in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi.

Guru Purnima on 10 July – Holiday or Celebration in Schools
The festival of Guru Purnima is falling on Thursday, 10 July 2025. This festival is considered very sacred for the followers of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Many schools give holiday on this day, especially in states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttarakhand.
